I had been planning to attend Porcefest this June, but I planned it months in advance. I had a camp site and everything. Then things happened.

First... I met a guy. He's sweet, kind, and likes me for who I am instead of what he thinks I can be. I appreciate that. I want to spend all the time I can with him, which isn't a whole lot right now due to our schedules. He couldn't come with me to Porcefest....

Second, work changed. Not my job, but the people I report to. The pretty much guaranteed time off I had disappeared.

So those two things together, and my ability to refund the $300 for the camp site in jepordy... I decided not to go. Maybe some other time. Some other place. But right now... It just isn't in the cards.
